About
Hello there, I’m glad you’re here!
I’m Nikkei Que, a New York-based multimedia artist with over a decade of experience in creative marketing and visual storytelling. I work across motion, video, photography, advertising and design, using each medium intentionally to communicate ideas effectively and memorably.
My work blends multiple art forms, with strong influence from photojournalism and street photography. I’m drawn to real moments, human expression, and details that feel lived-in rather than staged. Every piece I create aims to capture a specific moment or emotion, then translate it into a visual language that fits the production, whether that’s a short-form mobile ad, a brand video, or the quiet satisfaction on someone’s face when a beautifully cooked steak hits the table.
I approach each project as a translator. Your message goes in, and my job is to deliver it to the right audience accurately, effectively, and with personality. This takes the form of motion graphics, videography and editing, photography, or graphic design, depending on what the story calls for.
At the core of my work is a simple goal: turning ideas into visuals that stop people mid-scroll, hold attention, and ultimately drive action. Good design should feel effortless, but it should always work hard.
If you’ve got an idea you’re excited about, I’d love to hear it.
